The Beginning…….
It all began at
the age of four when I won the first
prize in All India Children’s Music Competition organised in New Delhi every
year.
Since then……. there has been no looking back…….
Born and brought up in Delhi, and being a south
Indian by birth, enabled me to involve in both North Indian & South Indian
languages, Music, including Western Music. The involvement interested me into
exploring 16 languages including English.
The journey
continued with Jingles and albumswhich included “Mehndi Ki Raat”, “Mehndi Ni
Mehndi”, “Punjabi Non-stop” in Punjabi, recorded in Mumbai.
“Dhinam dhorum
vaanguven Idhayam” the scintilatingfamous Jingle for “Idhayam Oil” picturised
on “Jothika”, gave me the ticket to enter the Tamil Music Industry. This
followed with other advertisements like “Idhayam Dots”, “Chennai silks”. The recent ones Sakthi Masala’s “Suvaya
Manama”, Saravana Stores “ Vittaacchu Vittaacchu”, etc…
. My first Playback song materialised with Music
Director “Harris Jeyaraj”, for the song called “yedho onru” from the movie
“Laysa Laysa”.
. The swing kept moving with various other hits
like “ Poo Mugam Siricha” for the movie Junction(Music by Bharadwaj), “
Kaadhalaagi” with S.P. Balasubramaniam in “Popcarn”(Music by Yuvan Shankar
Raaja), “Don’t worry be Happy” for the movie “Whistle”, “sutthi sutthi varuven”
for the movie “Sena” (Music bu Imman).
. The swing took a leap with the Blockbuster hit
“Kalyaanam dhaan Kattikkittu” from “saamy” which topped all the Music charts.
. Then followed by “Vinodhane” from Thennavan
“Vaamasa Kaatre” from Kurumbu Music by Yuvan shankar Raaja. “Ayurvedha azhagi”
from Thiruda Thirudi by Dhina,
. The recent series of hits are “Dhimsu Katta”
from Tirumala music by Vidhyasagar, “Chinna Veeda” music by Praveen Mani,
“Kokku Meena Thinguma” by Harris Jeyaraj, “Pacchakili Pacchakili” from Kutthu
by Srikanth deva.
.The other songs were from “Campus” music by
Rajneesh, “Aalukku oru aasai music by S.A .rajkumar, film “Jore” song title “Mummy Chellama” by
Srikanth Deva.

Besides singing actively participated in dramatics
with National School of Drama Workshop in New Delhi, doing few other plays.
Anchoring:
Compered for Singapore channel for a program
called “India Fashion Buzz” shot in Delhi. Anchored for special Episodes on Sun
TV, Jaya TV, Raj and Vijay TV.
.Done around 100 to 150 live shows in and around
India and overseas, Singapore, USA, Canada and Colombo.
.Actively participating in live shows for
corporate companies, Major Clients are Hyundai, Aircel, Touchtel, Airtel, Samsung, Bpl Mobiles, TVS group,
Cognizant Technology,.etc….
